The Austin Mudsox is not just another select team. We are a year-round, college-preparatory style baseball academy designed for serious athletes who are ready to commit to their development. Our program is built for homeschooled players and dedicated athletes who want to train and compete at an elite level. Our mission is to provide a holistic, structured, and professional environment that develops players on and off the field—making them bigger, faster, stronger, and smarter. Our program is structured around four distinct semesters, just like a collegiate program, ensuring our players are always developing with a purpose.

We believe in transparency and value. Our program is built so that one single monthly fee covers everything. When you are a part of the Mudsox family, you will never be surprised by hidden costs or extra "per-player" fees for tournaments or uniforms.

Your all-inclusive membership covers:

• Professional Coaching: A dedicated Head Coach and staff for all practices, games, and training sessions.
• Year-Round Facility Access: Full access to our partner training facility for all scheduled practices.
• Comprehensive Weekly Training (In-Season):
  
  • Two (2) indoor hitting and/or pitching sessions.
  • One (1) dedicated team field practice.
  • One (1) baseball-specific strength & conditioning session.
• A 40+ Game Schedule: A full slate of competitive games, tournaments, and leagues spread across three semesters.
• All League & Tournament Fees: Covers all costs for our Spring, Summer, and Fall schedules.
• Complete Uniform Package: Includes jerseys, hat, and all necessary gear for the season.
• All Team Fees: Covers all field rentals, umpire fees, team insurance, and equipment (balls, tees, etc.).
• Team Building & Culture: Three (3) fully funded team events (Spring, Summer, Fall) to build a true "family" environment.

Our developmental calendar is broken down into four distinct "semesters," each with a specific curriculum.

Focus: Competition & Development. This is our primary season. The semester is built around a competitive 20+ game schedule, including UIL/TAAPS tournaments and games against other high-level academy programs. Training is high-intensity, focusing on in-game execution, team strategy, and peak performance.

Focus: Performance & Exposure. The work continues in the summer. Our team competes in summer leagues, ensuring consistent, high-level at-bats and innings. We also compete in a few select tournaments to face new competition.

Focus: Skill & Refinement. The fall semester shifts to intensive skill development. We compete in a local fall league against other 18u teams and participate in a fall tournament. This is a crucial time for players to refine mechanics, develop new pitches, and make measurable gains. 

Focus: Strength & Foundation. The "off-season" is where championships are built. This semester is dedicated to a comprehensive strength and conditioning program. Players will focus on building a powerful athletic foundation, arm care, and recovery, ensuring they enter the Spring Semester ready to dominate.

The Austin Mudsox is more than a team; it's a community. Our all-inclusive price is designed to be transparent, but our commitment doesn't stop there. We actively fundraise and seek corporate sponsorships to help offset the monthly cost for every family in the program.
